At Lundy company, we love more than transforming homes—we love our customers and meeting the incredible people who make our communities stronger. Recently, we had the privilege of working with Darrel Burmeister, and it quickly became clear that we were serving a true Iowa legend. He had the best stories, and we so enjoyed our time with him.

Darrel's list of accomplishments speaks for itself:

While these honors recognize an outstanding career in Iowa High School athletics, what impressed us most was Darrel's unwavering commitment to young people. Through decades of coaching, mentoring, and inspiring student-athletes, he has made a lasting impact that extends far beyond wins and championships.

It was an honor to hear stories about his journey and the countless lives he's influenced along the way. People like Darrel remind us that true success isn't measured only by awards, rather it's the difference you make in the lives of others.
